Setting up your profile is easy. Some of the questions are more specific than we've seen on other sites - such as your actual weight (though you can say that you'd rather not say), musical taste, personality traits, etc.

The site is easy to navigate, and includes a vast number of possible search criteria - useful with such a large number of profiles to trawl through.

You are able to view up to three profiles a day for free, but once you've browsed this small allowance you'll inevitably be frustrated that you can't take a peek at more, so it is worth joining if you're serious.

I've tried quite a few of the dating sites, and DatingDirect.com remains my favourite. I think if you're looking for someone very specific - like of the same religion, or a single parent or something then some of the smaller niche sites are better, but if you're open to offers then the big ones like this one let you kind of blitz the dating market and see as many opportunities as possible - maybe increasing your chances of finding a few real definite-maybes. I've joined 4 of the big sites and its actually quite hard work keeping up with it all, but really fun too.
