Offering all of the usual dating site features as well as a few more, UK Singles Connection is as good a place as any to dip a toe into the online singles pool. UK Singles Connection is the UK branch of the parent company USA Singles connection.
Its sign-up process is straightforward and quicker than many we've trawled through, but we were a little disappointed by the number of profiles, especially as members seemed to be from across the globe. However, since you can browse profiles including all their photos and details, and also perform advanced searches before signing up as a paying member, it's still worth a bit of a browse. You need then only sign-up and pay if you want to contact someone - and even then a one month membership is one of the cheapest in the industry. We also like that, for free, you can see who's been looking at your profile and send 'smiles'.
Within their advanced search criteria you can select for looking for the usual married, widowed, divorced, single (never married) etc criteria or even choose to look for a partner who is "involved (sort of)" or "dating someone" if you are after something a bit casual. We were also kind of impressed by the range of possible religions - more than we'd seen on any other site!

Premium membership gets you all the communication features of standard membership but also allows you to be 'spotlighted' so you are featured member on the home page and in search results and also 'stand-out' which will highlight your profile in other places across the site.
